Planning a Disney World vacation with a little one? We’ve been there! While the big thrill rides get all the hype, there are so many magical attractions perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. We’ve compiled a list of top 10 list of rides that are a perfect mix of excitement and gentle fun with no height restriction. We found it important to try and include our 18 month old where we could, and it was worth it to see him smiling and laughing, our favourite was Haunted mansion and we ended up doing this multiple times. The motion of the Jungle cruise also sent him straight to sleep, so this was worth it for that alone.
Magic Kingdom
- Peter Pan’s Flight: A classic for a reason! Your little one will feel like they’re flying over London in a pirate ship.
- Haunted Mansion: Offers a spooky, yet fun ride through the haunted house where you get to experience ghostly residents and supernatural surprises.
- Jungle Cruise: A boat ride through simulated jungle environment, featuring animatronic animals and humorous commentary from the Skipper.
Epcot
- The Seas with Nemo & Friends: A slow-moving ride that takes you on an adventure to find Nemo. The ride empties into the incredible aquarium, where you can watch the fish up close.
- Journey Into Imagination with Figment: This ride is a total sensory experience that will delight your kids with its goofy songs and silly surprises.
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure: This 4D ride shrinks you down to the size of a rat and takes you on a wild chase through a Parisian kitchen.
Hollywood Studios
- Toy Story Mania!: A fun and interactive ride where you get to play carnival games with your favorite Toy Story characters. Our boys love this one because they feel like they’re in a real-life video game.
- Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway: This trackless ride is a fantastic, colorful adventure that brings the classic cartoons to life.
Animal Kingdom
- Kilimanjaro Safaris: Your little one will be amazed by the real-life animals, from giraffes to lions, on this authentic safari adventure.
- TriceraTop Spin: Another simple spinner ride that’s perfect for a quick, fun distraction from the heat and crowds.
